WEEKEND AND INTENSIVE STRUCTURE:

INTENSIVES:  Our Intensives on Friday through Monday on 8/31/18 - 9/3/18 and on 1/4/19 - 1/7/19, will begin at 10am and end at 6.30pm, with a one hour break.  The Monday session will usually begin and end earlier.  These times are subject to change and see updates closer to the time of the intensive.  Please keep these 4 days clear of other commitments - They will be intense!  Each intensive is 30 hours duration

WEEKENDS:

There are 8 weekends: 9/14-15; 9/28-30; 10/12-14; 10/26-28; 11/9-11; 11/30-12/1; 12/14-16; 3/1-3/19.  Each weekend is 15+ hours duration.  The weekend hours are:  Fridays 3pm - 8.30pm;  Saturdays 1pm - 6.30pm with occasional evening sanghas/presentations from 7-8.30pm; Sundays 10.30 - 5/5.30pm.  

Here is a sample weekend breakdown of hours:   

FRIDAY    3pm - 8.30pm    

3pm  Meditation - Philosophy/Ecology Introduction .5hr  followed by Active practice incorporating theme/s, our 4 key poses and fun teaching theme exercises.   Lead by RR/MP - with assistance from TJB

5.15 – 5.45pm  Checkin in small groups- Review of homework and our online study info and web comments

Simple Ayurvedic Meal provided by Traci Joy Burleigh (TJB) and 5 Elements

6.30 - 8.30pm  Experiential Anatomy based on theme of weekend

SATURDAY  1 - 6.30pm  Led by RR/MP or visiting adjunct faculty.

1-3.30pm  Advanced Asana Practice  (T)

3.30-4pm  Review of Sequence 

4-4.30 pm Break

4.30-6.30  Teaching Methodology - Seeing and Understanding Bodies.

Sangha Event:  7-8.30 pm  Occasional Films/Presenters/Discussion times   (attendance at 2 of these evenings is required)

SUNDAY    10.30am - 5/5.30pm

10.30am  Mini Active Practice and Meditation. 

11.15 - 1.45pm Ethics/Philosophy/Ecology

Break

1.45pm Teaching Methodology and Practice focusing on our themes 

3.45- 5pm   Subtle Arts (Restorative/Pranayama/Meditation) Practice  and Review 

Note: 6 hours of chanting/ayurveda workshops will occur over the course in this time slot and ending time on these days will be at 5.30pm
